I've been incredibly burnt out the last year or so, so she's been put on the back burner since... 2018? I think that's when I first started with the sketch. The current situation the world finds itself in, myself included, taught me that art and design really are the only things that were always here for me, regardless of the circumstances, and always gave back as much as I gave to them. So I want to focus on doing more art that makes me happy, especially in these trying times.
And Isara is such a beloved character of mine, and a constant source of inspiration. This painting is a little tribute to the two and a half year long dnd campaign I had with a group of college buddies.
